Welcome

Soul Sisters Society: Redefining Strength, Embracing Rest, and Thriving Together.

About

Hey Sis!

REST IS NOT A LUXURY, IT'S A NECESSITY.

This community is a sacred space for high-achieving Black women to overcome burnout, redefine the 'Strong Black Woman' expectation, and embrace self-discovery, rest, and inner healing. Here, we cultivate a sisterhood built on meaningful connections, deep healing, and spiritual growth—empowering each woman to live authentically and thrive.

Meet the Coach

Anissa

Anissa’s journey is one of resilience, transformation, and reclaiming power. After 30 years of marriage, divorce shook her world, impacting her mental and physical health in ways she never expected. After nearly a decade of caregiving, she experienced the loss of both parents, adding another layer to her journey of healing and self-rebuilding. Just as she planned a much-needed sabbatical in Costa Rica to reset and heal, she was faced with yet another challenge—a breast cancer diagnosis. But Anissa is more than a survivor. She is living proof that Black women can rise, heal, and reclaim their power on their own terms.

Her experiences revealed a truth too many high-achieving Black women know well: the unspoken pressure to carry everything without a space to release, rest, and heal. That realization led her to build Soul Sister’s Society, a sacred community where Black women can break free from expectations, prioritize their well-being, and step fully into the lives they deserve.

As a speaker, podcaster, and advocate for healing and self-discovery, Anissa is dedicated to empowering Black women to not just survive—but to thrive. Her passion is pouring into her sisters through storytelling, connection, and deep healing work—because Black women are not meant to simply endure; they are meant to flourish.
